1. I thought the word “kitsch” would make it clear that I was talking about (“hipster”) fake mustaches and performance, not grown hair. Obviously I was wrong in that assumption (and it is not okay for me to be angry at people for not knowing what “kitsch” means. It could be pretty obscure). I probably should have linked the original post I was referring to in the tags as well to give it more context. My fault. 
2. I should have been precise and specifically said that my post was about cis white women only (the only group I’ve seen besides the occasional Asian woman who actually does this thing with fake mustaches). 
3. I know that Women of Color, particularly Black and Latina women, get a lot of shit for appearing “masculine”, and I am really sorry for hurting people by not being more specific with my wording. Femininity in itself is a concept that’s already slanted towards white and Asian women— I am sure that this is why Black trans women tend to face more violence than other trans women. This thought did cross my mind, but I didn’t catch myself in it and make myself take a moment to edit/reread what I had written before posting (which says a lot about my own privilege). I am super sorry for this.
4. Cis women who get crap for having prominent facial hair? That’s transmisogyny, misogyny, and sometimes racism. And again, I was talking about fake mustaches, not grown facial hair.
5. I still stand by my opinion that white cis women using fake mustaches is a HUGE indicator of how much privilege they have. You experience sexism but your femininity is generally (not entirely, i never said that in the OP) unquestioned to a point where you can actually bend the rules and have it be cute, sexy, or ironic. This kind of performance is hinged upon the idea that facial hair on women is deviant, weird, etc., which affects trans women and all women who deal with facial hair.  
6. Someone mentioned that maybe women could grow facial hair as a means of reclaiming space/fighting back against body policing…that’s fine with me and none of my business to decide.
7. White cis women replying with photos of themselves with fake mustaches…yeah fuck you. Basically illustrating #5 for me by flaunting your privilege and being cis scum. I hope you fall into a pit of legos.

1. Trans people exist, are not ugly, are the gender they say they are, need support and respect, are human beings, aren’t your fetish objects or porn category, and it’s okay to be trans.
2. Porn can be really oppressive, and healthier (and funnier and better) sources of porn exist besides videos.
3. Your sexuality is okay. It is not wrong to be queer in any way. The history of the word queer, the queer movements led by trans women of color. Queer history in different cultures and contexts
4. Sexualized racism and sexualized racist misogyny and cissexism. For example, the Madonna/Whore complex and how it translates across racial lines (eg Nun/Spicy Latina for Latina women, Mammy/Jezebel for Black women, Delicate Princess/Prostitute for East Asian women).
5. Desexualization of disabled people, why it’s bullshit, how to counteract desexualization. How disability, including emotional and/or developmental disabilities can relate to sex.
6. How to actively prevent rape in your circles and combat rape in larger social groups. How men can stop other men from raping. How to control oneself. How to not blame rape victims; how to support rape victims, and the necessity of doing so.
7. Warning signs of abuse (and not just partner abuse, familial and friendship and parental and other forms of abuse), what abuse victims tell themselves, survival strategies, how to get out of an abusive relationship while it is the safest option, how to support abuse victims, how to not become abusive.
8. How to effectively communicate, and how to healthily break up/detach. How to keep a relationship going, and how to stop it.
9. How to be a teenage or young parent. How to raise a child, where to go for help, options. Combating the stigma of teenage parenthood, especially teenage motherhood by WoC. Showing both positive and negative examples of teenage parenthood and being realistic.
10. Where and when to seek help with relationships and sex. When should you see a doctor, and what kind of information do you need to bring? Where are the trans-friendly doctors in the school’s area? What kind of legal representation should you have if you are disabled and need help communicating to a doctor?
11. Statistics on everything related to sex. Rates of rape of native women by non-native men; rates of suicide of trans people after sexual assault. Rates of spousal and domestic abuse. Rates of sexually transmitted diseases. Rates of poverty of teen mothers. How long the average teenage sexual relationship lasts. Demographics of different sexualities.

2. Dan Savage believes that bisexuals do not and should not exist.

3. Dan Savage has admonished women for not putting up with their partner’s sexual desires and has criticized female rape survivors’ stories.

“There the guy was, boned for you, and he was brave enough to put his desires out there, to make himself vulnerable (which is what the ladies are always saying they want, right?), and you lobbed the ol’ “What?!?” bomb at him and made him feel like a freak. Is it any wonder that he quickly moved on to “other things” and, one would hope, better sex partners?”

“I’m extremely sorry that you were raped, DRARS, although your baseless accusations of rape make me doubt you when you claim to be a survivor of rape. The feminist bloggers are going to accuse me of thought crimes: If a woman says she was raped then, by God, she was raped. (Tell it to the lacrosse team.) 4. Dan Savage thinks that racist gay white men are less of a threat to African-Americans than homophobic African-Americans are to gay people.

They get even worse, believe me — the sexual kink that Savage admonishes the woman for was because he believed it was totally ok for her boyfriend wanting to put his nutsack into her vagina. Because that is a totally unsurprising sexual desire to request for.
